ARTS ALIVE! needs educated, energetic, creative, child loving, FUN loving "edu-tainers" to apprentice with us starting as soon as possible.  We specialize in Integrated Arts.  (Integrated Arts is teaching a combination of ALL of the arts - creative movement, dance, creative drama, music and visual art) to children ages 3 months to 12 years old.  This paid apprenticeship focuses on training you to become an ARTS ALIVE! leader for weekly classes and weekend birthday parties. 
 
We're interested in people who are looking for a long term, part time career opportunities.  (Not just "a job.") We want someone able to commit to at least a year.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
We will consider a range of training and experience, but we prefer:

EDUCATION:
Master's or Advance degree recipient or candidate
-- or --
Bachelor's in Education and/or the Arts
 
EXPERIENCE IN:
Working with and Leading groups of children, especially young children ages 6 months – 5 years
Creative movement/dance
Creative drama
Performing arts

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Be Professional, Dependable and Punctual
Possess strong leadership AND team skills
Be able to skillfully and confidently handle large groups
Be energetic,  - - You need to be able to slither like a snake, jump like a frog & gallop like a horse - ALL DAY!  

Must have own transportation.  Travel is an integral part of the job. Hours are somewhat flexible.
This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a Long Term, Part Time position.
